About Us
Tasker landscaping was founded in 1978 by Gary Tasker following his return home after four years active duty in the U.S. Airforce. What began as a one-man operation providing grounds maintenance for private residences and a handful of small business quickly evolved into something much more.
By the early 1980s Gary's passion for outdoor work had expanded beyond routine landscape maintenance services. Tasker Landscaping began offering full-service landscape construction and design. Developing beautiful outdoor spaces using natural stone, granite, shrubs, trees perennials and shoreline restoration techniques that honor and enhance New Hampshires natural terrains. Snow plowing and winter services, excavation, home building, and renovation services, along with real estate development were also added.
Gary continued to invest in his knowledge during this time, earning an associate’s degree in general science with a Business Major from NHTI in Concord NH and attained his real estate license.
Although largely self-taught, Gary knowledge is shaped by years of hands-on experience and enriched through collaboration with renowned landscape architects throughout NH.
The company has worked closely with these architects, engineers and building contractors to provide clients with comprehensive, high quality landscaping solutions.
The company is now guided with the help of Joe Supry, Chief Operations Manager and design/ estimator, Justin Thomas Maintenance Operations Manager and Jim Douglas Construction Operations Manager.
A fleet of 23 vehicles services southern NH to areas above the lake’s region.
Today Tasker landscaping remains a family rooted company built on decades of hands-on experience, technical skill, and a commitment to quality work throughout New Hampshire.
Gary now lives in Northwood NH with his wife Roxanne. Their daughter Jennifer is an office manager, and his grandson Alex is an assistant office manager and helps to ensure smooth daily operations. Tasker landscaping office is located on Chichester Road Loudon NH.
